Lead Segmentation

Lead segmentation in Evergiving allows you to organize donor data into groups for targeted analysis and engagement. Segmentation helps you:

  • Target specific leads more accurately
  • Provide agents with relevant donor information
  • Analyze performance across donor segments
  • Export segmented data to other systems

Evergiving supports over 68 data types for segmentation, which can be imported flexibly from a Donor Management or other system into Evergiving.

Data Validation and Import

Evergiving’s import feature includes built-in validation to ensure data integrity before importing. Common issues, like phone numbers losing leading zeroes in spreadsheets, are automatically corrected.

  • Flexible column order: Data is matched based on column titles, regardless of order.
  • Ignored columns: Extra columns are automatically ignored during the import process.
  • Phone number validation: Phone numbers are validated against national or E.164 formats.
  • Country codes: Donor country codes (e.g., AU, US) are automatically converted to full country names.

Agent Access to Data

Imported segmentation data is available to agents within a reference pane beneath the phone interface. This provides context during calls, such as whether the donor has interacted with the organization before.

Data Analysis and Export

Evergiving dashboards allow for the inclusion of segmentation data to analyze performance across different groups. Segmentation data is also available for export, including through Evergiving’s integrations and the EBIC service, allowing further analysis in external reporting tools.
