Capture a photo

This document explains how to add a donor photo during a face-to-face sign up.

How to Enable the Feature

This feature is enabled on a per-campaign basis. To request activation:

1. Email support@evergiving.com.
2. Specify the names of the Campaign/s where you want the feature enabled.

How to Take a Photo

Once the feature is enabled for your campaign, follow these steps after a donor signs up:

1. On the post-sign-up screen, tap the "Attach donor photo" button.
2. This will launch your device's camera. Take the photo.
3. Submit the photo. It will be automatically attached to the donor's pledge.

How to Access and Use the Photos

Pledge View

• Open the specific pledge from your dashboard.
• Click on the "Donor's Photo" link to view the image.

Exports

• Via Email Export: In the export email body, add the [photograph download link] tag. The email will contain a link to download a single zip file with all photos from the exported pledges.
  
• Via SFTP Export: When setting up the export, select Yes next to the 'Also Export Photographs?' option.
  

Welcome Emails

• When editing your Supporter Welcome Email, simply insert the merge field {SUPPORTER_PHOTO} into the email body.
• The photo will be displayed in the email when it is sent.

Note

There is no quality assurance on photos before they are sent to donors.
